Job Title: Drill Bit Account Representative

Role Summary: As an Account Manager you will take ownership for the sales orders for new and existing customers. Using your knowledge of the market and customers, you will build trusted relationship. Acting as an ambassador for the customer, you will contribute innovative insights that drive new and existing sales opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Selling to named account(s), addition of a new customer is typically rare and usually subject to review process.
  • Handling products and systems requiring technical knowledge. Some customizations within guidelines can be done.
  • Contributing to frameworks for prices and conditions. There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions.
  • Cooperating with (technical) sales support to realize sales.
  • Handling diverse clients in a medium size territory.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Sales).
  • Have a minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Account Sales preferred.
  • Have a knowledge of Drill Bits sales preferred.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills, and proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Desired Characteristics: Knowledge and understanding in the following areas is helpful:
  • Well Planning, Drilling optimization, Drilling Systems, Formation Evaluation tools, and Knowledge Management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Data analysis experience.
